Ja ja ja. Die Kneipennächte. Bändchen am Arm, Eintritt in jeden Schuppen und überall eine andere Band. Herren auf Barhockern, Pferdeschwänze bei "Highway to Hell". Nach ein paar Songs will man weiter ziehen.

1. Wir sind die Blackbyrds, vier Jungs aus Stuttgart.
2. Wir haben die Platten unserer Eltern aus dem Keller gezogen und sie zur Religion gemacht.
3. Wir zelebrieren die Sixties in ihrer rauen Art, vielleicht so, wie wir uns dunkle Nächte im Hamburger Kaiserkeller, Astra oder Silber Club vorstellen. Das heißt keine Lichtshow, kein Subwoofer-Spektakel oder anderer technischer Schnickschnack.
4. Wir spielen authentisch, auf alten Amps, alten Klampfen und lassen dabei den rohen Garagen-Sound der sechziger Jahre rüberschwappen.

Das ist, was unsere Show ausmacht.

Auch wenn in unseren Sets hin und wieder ein wenig Indierock und Britpop gerät, sind wir die Coverband für jeden, der es Retro mag. Ihr wollt "atemlos durch die Nacht"? Ne, sorry, nicht mit uns!
Seit fast 10 Jahren sind wir in Europa unterwegs. Im Mai 2015 waren wir dort, wo alles begann: Im Liverpooler Cavern Club. Auf der Bühne, die von McCartney, den Kinks und anderen Größen betreten wurde.
