“TREPÌ” è un progetto musicale che nasce quasi per gioco nel 2002.
Durante un party privato due amici (Daniele Penzavalli e Matteo Piazza) iniziano a strimpellare su strumenti di fortuna (tavoli, bottiglie, una vecchia chitarra e tutto ciò che capitava a tiro……) per allietare una serata all’insegna della voglia di divertirsi e dello stare in compagnia.
Da quella “prima volta” molte cose sono cambiate.
In occasione del primo ingaggio ufficiale si aggiunse un terzo elemento di rinforzo:
Murat Parlak (compositore, cantante e pianista di fama internazionale).
Dai cognomi dei tre il nome del progetto: Penzavalli, Piazza, Parlak = ***3P***.
Nei tempi a seguire, le richieste d’ingaggio per la band sono state tali da trasformare questo progetto in un punto di riferimento professionale per i molti musicisti affermati che, a turno, sono stati ospiti del nucleo base.
“TREPÌ”è stata la band fissa di alcuni locali ticinesi dove hanno sempre riscosso un notevole successo grazie ad una formula azzeccata vale a dire “niente di prestabilito!”.
Si tratta di veri e propri “camaleonti musicali” in grado di soddisfare le più svariate richieste di gestori e pubblico che vanno dal pop-rock italiano e internazionale, alla canzone d’autore passando per il funky-soul, dance, blues fino alla musica popolare.
Per fare tutto ciò in maniera credibile si avvalgono, oltre che della coinvolgente voce di Daniele Penzavalli, anche di “ospiti specializzati”, che di volta in volta danno il necessario tocco di “autenticità” che le diverse situazioni richiedono.
Si sono anche specializzati in una proposta molto “ambiziosa”per dei musicisti e unica nel suo genere vale a dire il “karaoke live”. (Su richiesta).
Questa versione dei “TREPÌ” permette al pubblico di partecipare attivamente all’esibizione diventando addirittura protagonista.
Infatti viene data al pubblico la possibilità di cantare con una vera “live band”, scegliendo da una vastissima lista di brani, quindi, a differenza dei karaoke tradizionali, niente basi niente trucchi, ma tutto rigorosamente “LIVE”, trasformando la performance in un’esperienza unica per chi non ha mai cantato con una band dal vivo e da tempo desiderava farlo.
Inutille dire che detto esercizio mette a durissima prova le doti d’improvvisazione e di “mestiere” dei musicisti che devono, in tempo reale, dar vita a dei brani, per la maggior parte mai suonati prima, nella giusta tonalità e con gli arrangiamenti del caso.
L’attività della band, nelle sue diverse versioni, (dal trio semi acustico al sestetto con fiati e percussioni) si può quantificare in circa cento serate l’anno.
Sono stati invitati in Svizzera Italia e Germania ad animare ogni genere di manifestazione dal matrimonio al piccolo medio e grande club fino all’ open-air.
Ogni musicista vanta una notevole esperienza musicale in studio, dal vivo e live anche in campo internazionale. La maggior parte di loro si distingue anche per un’ intensa attività didattica nel campo dell’insegnamento musicale.
Il nucleo base con elementi aggiunti ha addirittura accompagnato artisti del calibro di
RICKY MARTIN e GLORIA ESTEFAN durante la finalissima di Miss Svizzera 2003 (eurovisione).

TREPÌ Is a project that starts“just for fun” in 2002.
During a private Party two friends (Matteo Piazza and Daniele Penzavalli) start to play on everything was aruond (bottles, glasses, tables, a very old and out of tune Guitar…….) to have fun and to create some Party Atmosphere in the House.
Since this Night many things have changed. With the first gig the band choosed the name “TREPÌ” ‘couse the third guy’s name was Murat Parlak and so..Penzavalli-Piazza-Parlak..3P=TREPÌ!
In the fallowing months the required gigs becames so many, that the “funny projet” turned in a very buisy group which involved many, many differents professionals muisicians who , as guests, joined the band giving their own touch to the programm. TREPÌ was engaged by several clubs as “resident Band” for the season and allways with success. The plan is very easy “nothing fixed!!!!!”
They are specilized in a very dangeruos game: “what do you whant listen?”
If someone in the Audience like’s to join the Band and sing a song with them (choosing from a list with more then 400 songs)….no problem…within 10 seconds they start in the right key, with the right groove, with right tempo and ……good luck!!! This is a very challenging thing to do for a musician becouse you never know what we’ll append, but the people loves to see somebody on stage improvising a performance. By the way they give to people the chanche to take part to a karaoke, with a big difference compared to the usual situation: everything is absolutely LIVE!!
Of course if nobody whant’s to sing the great voice of Daniele make’s everybody happy. They are asked for more then 100 concert per year and it goes like that since giune 2002. The amazing amount of gigs in this short time gived the band a very strong and loked intrplay attitude. TREPÌ have been invited in Germany, Italy and Switzerland to provide for every possible kind of enterteinment: open airs,TV shows, clubs, private Partys, weddings, birthdays, hollydays village, ecc……
Each musician have a big musical back ground in differents situations (even with internationals big Acts live, studio, teaching….) In a particular line up they played as Official Band for the final night of “MISS SWTZERLAND 2003.
